How selling to us works
Want to sell your Pokémon cards? At PokeIce we are happy to buy high-quality single cards, booster packs and sealed products. This guide explains how the process works and what to keep in mind.
Step 1: Send us your cards
First, contact us by email at or via our contact form. Describe the cards you want to sell as accurately as possible — including name, set, condition and language. We'll then tell you where to send them.
Step 2: Condition assessment
We grade every card according to the following standard:
- NM (Near Mint): card is almost flawless, minimal storage marks allowed. Best buy prices.
- LP (Lightly Played): light wear on the corners or back. Small price reduction.
- MP (Moderately Played): visible wear, no tears or heavy creases. Medium price reduction.
- HP (Heavily Played): heavy wear, creases, dirt. Only bought in exceptional cases.
- DMG (Damaged): cards with tears, creases or other heavy damage are not bought.
Please be honest about the condition — a re-assessment when the card arrives may lead to a price adjustment.
Step 3: Price offer
After assessment you receive a binding offer within 1–3 business days. Our buy prices are based on current market prices (TCGPlayer, Cardmarket). The buy price is usually 50–70% of the current market price, depending on:
- Condition of the card
- Current demand
- Language and edition
- Whether the card is already in our inventory
Step 4: Payout
Once we agree on a price, payout is made via your choice of:
- Bank transfer (within 2–3 business days of receiving the cards)
- PayPal (processed immediately on receipt)
- Store credit (+15% bonus on the buy price)
Which cards do we buy?
- Pokémon TCG single cards (EN, DE) — NM and LP preferred
- Sealed products (unopened boosters, ETBs, displays) in perfect condition
- Graded cards (PSA 9/10, BGS 9/9.5)
- Vintage / Base Set cards (also LP/MP depending on demand)
We currently do not buy fakes, proxies or heavily damaged cards.
